The founders and performers of Act of Emotion, Linnéa Palmgren and Erik Svedin, create spectacular and captivating light performances unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. With shining mirror costumes, groundbreaking LED technology, Act of Emotion truly challenges the way we interact and express ourselves through light and sound.
"We met in a competition for fire performers, fell in love a couple of years later and founded Act of Emotion together."
1. What is your pre-show ritual?
We always try to get a good night's sleep to be in our best shape for the performance. Checking and charging all equipment, warm up and rehearsal is essential as well.
2. One thing we don’t know about you?
We met in a competition for fire performers, fell in love a couple of years later and founded Act of Emotion together. So it’s a family run business built on our passion for fire and light performances.
3. What is the best advice you have received?
To create a vision board. After we created our very first vision board the magic started to happen. Within 6 months we reached our first financial goal and got booked by the clients and event agencies we had dreamt of. Now we make a vision board for every new year and it always manifests. Finding your focus questions can also be really helpful and make a big difference to what you want to achieve. To find out more about that we recommend you to check out David JP Phillips, he makes it clear and is truly inspiring.
4. Favourite day?
The days our kids were born. Except for that it’s pretty hard to choose one day only... There is so much in life to be grateful for and we like to remind ourselves of that everyday. Gratitude meditation with the following 3 questions is a favourite: 1. What am I grateful for today? 2. What do I want to learn today? 3. What do I wish to give to others today?
5. The house is on fire. What do you grab?
Our kids and one of our 10 fire extinguishers.
