An Expedition to Mount Everest

Mount Everest is the highest peak on the world. One courageous Crowd1 affiliate and accomplished mountaineer has taken it upon himself to ascend it. He's scaling the peak for the second time, but this time in the name of Crowd1.

Crowd1 has the pleasure of introducing this exclusive interview with Mr Chandra Shor Rai, who will climb Mount Everest during the month of May in 2021.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Chandra Shor Rai and I originate from the Everest region in Nepal. I have scaled Mount Everest (8,848m) once on the 21 of May in 2018. At the beginning of my career, I was a trekking guide, I am now leading both trekking and expeditions too after completing my advanced mountaineering guide courses.

What does your history with Crowd1 look like?

For more than a year now, I haven’t been able to work in the tourism business, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I don’t think I lost any income and this is because of Crowd1. Crowd1 has helped me so much in these rough times. Speaking of how I got into Crowd1, it was actually one of my best friends who referred me to this digital platform in mid of July 2020. As of now, I am a Coordinator 2 Star and I am very happy and excited to see what the future of Crowd1 looks like.

"If you give me an opportunity to flutter the flag of Crowd1 on the top of Mount Everest, I’ll accomplish this mission even if it is highly challenging."

Why are you climbing Mount Everest for Crowd1?

There are many reasons to climb Mount Everest for Crowd1.

Firstly, there are many people and countries who still don’t know about my country Nepal, even though they have heard about Mount Everest. Nepal is a beautiful country in terms of nature and culture and I want the world to know about its beauty. I also want to promote it in purpose of attract tourists throughout the world, because our country and the tourism business has suffered from the pandemic.

Secondly, I would like to promote this digital marketing company from the top of the world. I want every Nepalese person to know about Crowd1. I want to let it be known to the world how Crowd1  helps people that are struggling with financial problems, just how Crowd1 has helped me.

We wish you the best of luck on your journey, Chandra Shor Rai!
