Spotlight: Miriam Wambui Kamau

Every month, leaders are stepping up and working harder than ever to educate, recruit, and most of all, inspire. It is because of people like them that make Crowd1 the incredible network that it is. This is a chance to get to know the people behind the success.

What is your background like?

I have been in the network marketing industry for ten years.

How did you get to where you are now?

I’ve worked hard! I joined Crowd1 on May 19th, 2019. At that time, I was at home with a 3-month- old baby, very broke and with a mountain of debts. As I nurtured my little girl I had become a stay at home mum. So when I got the link to join Crowd1 from my husband Mr David Kamau who had been sent the link by Bibian Lichoro, my up-line and currently President 3 Star, I was quick to realize that the opportunity was a business from home hence would work well with my then-status as mentioned above.

"Never give up- persistance and consistency is the key to success."

What have been the biggest challenges?

My first challenge as a breastfeeding mum, my movements were curtailed so I could not move and meet people as I would have liked. However, I used the power of social media to continue communicating and encouraging my team to learn the business and start. The major handle, despite my efforts, was most of the people who had agreed to join the business did not have the money. Eventually, most of them started with white packages but later upgraded themselves to bigger packages. The other major challenge was the suspicion that the network industry was a scam. It was becoming harder and harder, but I had resolved to soldier on.

If you could coach your younger self, what would you tell them?

Never give up – persistence and consistency is the key to success. They should raise them to the highest level of success in life. I would also like to alert them that success in network marketing is not delivered on a silver platter – it requires hard work dedication and patience. Frustrations are real, but that should not be a detriment to their success.

Choose a superpower and explain why!

Ambassadors Renz Eduardo, George van Wijk and Björn Arnstedt. These great champions of our network have a lot of inspiration, dedication, and support to the entire Crowd1 family despite their levels in the company.

What is the best gift you have given someone?

The opportunity to coach, mentor and sponsor a lot of leaders in my network.

What inspires you?

The desire to keep inspiring others to work through their challenges with dedication and to see them succeed at the end of the day.
