What is your background like?
My background is Samoa culture, and we are God-fearing people, and we do not like to be held on a pedestal or recognised for what we have achieved. All we need is to share our faith. Each village has a church which is built by the community, and the village is one family.
Tell me about your Team-No-Sleep
Our team is called Team-No-Sleep. I am the compliance checker of the team and ensure that the training is being shared in a format/terminology that everyone understands, and sharing the correct information. I might get 2 or 3hours sleep a night, education is very much part of the system. It's all about supporting our teams not only in the Pacific Islands but in Africa too.
I also have a member in Cote d'Ivoire, and I paid for his team to get started - they are also struggling with getting started. The Internet is really bad and expensive, but we fund them with data to assist in getting their business up and running - it's people like this that we want to help.
What's on your mind now?
A lot of our Islanders can't have crypto because they don't have a Crypto Wallet where they can attach their country bank card. So they can't transfer it from their Crypto Wallet to their personal bank account. We have come together in our leadership team and brainstormed on how we are going to overcome this challenge. We are researching crypto companies in Australia that might be able to assist us in this regard.
Have there been any challenges in your life?
There have been challenges. But when someone asks for help, I know God is asking me to help.
I can't say no and endlessly give and lead with purpose. So, anything is possible, and when there is a challenge, I know God is behind me.
What does Crowd1 mean to you?
We want Crowd1 to grow beyond our years. We believe it's a generational wealth that we are building, and we are building a stepping stone for our children. If we do this correctly, our children will have no struggle when it comes to money. It's here to create self-worth for so many people in the Pacific Islands.
