Spotlight: Themba Mkhwani

Every month, leaders are stepping up and working harder than ever to educate, recruit, and most of all, inspire. It is because of people like them that make Crowd1 the incredible network that it is. This is a chance to get to know the people behind the success.

What is your background like?

I am originally from Kwazulu Natal in a district called Umzinto. 1992 I moved to Johannesburg where I have stayed up until now. I grew up in a very poor family and going to school was not easy. However, I have always known that I need to stand up for my success.

“I never thought that one could make lots and lots of money just by using a smartphone.”

Choose a superpower and explain why!

A super power is to be a member of Crowd1. I never thought that one could make lots and lots of money just by using a smartphone. Crowd1 is here to change the whole world.

What is the best gift you have given someone?

The best gift I have given someone is Crowd1, so many people in my team managed to buy houses, cars and many other things like supporting their families just because of Crowd1. Crowd1 makes people believe in themselves.

Who inspires you?

God is my inspiration. If it was not for him, I wouldn't have made it to this far. Also, our leaders at Crowd1 are showing us that we must not take no for an answer. I’m inspired by Crowd1 founder Jonas Werner.

What inspires you?

I get so inspired when I see people progressing in life and are willing to learn new things.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a musician when I was young and I did pursue the career. However, network marketing took over.

What is the best advice you have received?

The best advice I have received is that I must never listen to negative people. I must not take no for an answer as a networker, and I must always respect other people because my integrity is at stake in everything I do.

What do you work towards in your free time?

I’m also an athlete, so I spend most of my free time training. But I also like reading personal development books and I love listening to music.

Make sure you read the CROWD Spotlight reportage on Marie Claire Ingabire and Masilo Mokone.
