The future is bright with Peter Jakobsson

People who reach their full potential and become successful have the same thing in common with each other–how they live their lives. Similarly, on the other side of the isle, you can see the commonalities between the people who are not successful. There are laws for success. As predictable as success is, the same goes for failure.

We don’t reap what we need, we reap what we deserve. Most people tend to be like the ones they spend the most time with. This is known as the law of conformity. We simply become like the people we hang around with. In the early years, that was our parents. That is where we learn the first basics of life. Later, it will be your teachers in school, and soon it will be your place of work. That is where most people develop their way of thinking and acting.

I don’t know about you, but I never took a class called “Becoming rich” or “The millionaire mindset.” Did you?

Many people need a financial change. They need a better way of life but have not yet learned the laws of life. That reaping is reserved for the planters. We think we deserve it because we need it. That is not how the universe works, we have to make ourselves deserve it.

How do we do that? Giving starts the process of reaping. The farmer knows very well that he can’t walk up the field and say, “Give me crops.” He knows that he needs to plant the seed first before he can reap its rewards. It is the same with us, we have to become givers before we can have.

You have to become a giver rather than a taker. You might think to yourself, “What do I have to give? I don’t have anything.” YES, you do. You can start by giving your time, your skills and your focus to helping others who might need it. That is why it’s so important to start educating yourself and start thinking like successful people do. Start reading books and work on your skills. Start creating good habits.

When you start to realise that everything works according to the laws, the principles never change. Success is obedient to laws. You can never fail if you follow great principles of life. The future is bright because anyone can start changing the way they think and working on creating good habits. It is about doing it. Either you do, or you do not.

But, if you start by becoming a giver, then the best of your life will be the rest of your life. Because you are not who you think you are, you are who you THINK you are.
